Sobre la investigación
This paper examines the effect of the time children spend in school on female labor supply. In particular, we investigate whether the variance of school hours within the household might affect both labor force participation, labor employment and the number of weekly hours worked of mothers of school-age children. We find that having all your kids in FD schools and with more synchronized schedules increase mother’s labor force outcomes.
