Between August 29 and September 1, a new version of the annual congress of the American Political Science Association (APSA), one of the most important in the discipline worldwide, was held in Washington DC. With more than 1200 simultaneous panels, this year the conference was entitled "Populism and privilege" broke attendance records.
Aldo Madariaga, CEAS assistant professor presented the conclusion of his next book, Neoliberal Resilience. Lessons in Democracy and Development in Latin America and Eastern Europe, which will be published in 2020 by Princeton University Press.
In the same panel also presented works by Dr. Jimena Valdéz, from U. Cornell, and Dr. Lindsay Mayka, from Colby College.
