CEAS Investigators, Claudia Sanhueza and Mayarí Castillo will present in CEDEUS/COES Conference 2019, to be held between 12 and 15 of november. The presentations are titled as follows:
- Time poverty, gender and social social housing in Santiago de Chile (Mayarí Castillo)
- A quantitative study on the effects of segregation on the oportunities of young people in Chile: 1992-2017 (Claudia Sanhueza)
- Socioecological inequalities and collective action in the face of environmental degradation in contemporary Chile (Mayarí Castillo)
About the conference
This conference seeks to reunite professionals from different disciplines to speak of a contemporary issue: urban segregation. Discussions will be held on the challenges that this phenomenom posits and possible solutions, in a context of constant feedback.
The conference will feature international keynote speakers, such as Talka Blokland, Manuel Aalbers, Jarrett Walker and others, who will give lectures on topics such as social geography or urban gentrification.
