Professor Juan A. Bogliaccini, a doctor of political science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and associate professor in the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the Catholic University of Uruguay, will make a stay at the Center for Economics and Social Policies during the month of September 2019. The visit is part of his ongoing research on labor reforms and center-left governments in Latin America and South Europe.
Professor Bogliaccini will participate in two activities with our university:
- Academic seminar: He will give an academic seminar open to the community on September 12 at 4:30 p.m., where he will present preliminary results of his research on the 2001 labor reform in Chile. More information about the seminar here.
- Mixed methods workshop: It will also give a mixed methods workshop for the PhD students in Public Policies that co-directs our center.
